- The Gatekeeper Tailgate 3 locks around the rear taper of your board; behind of the widest point in the hips and forward of the fin(s), preventing surfboard theft.
- Additionally, your board will stay in place when you are at speed on the freeway and winding roads – no fly outs or rattling around in the bed of your truck.
- The Gatekeeper Locking Surf Rack can be removed from your tailgate when not needed, leaving your truck bed ready for other uses. It’s easily detached (with your key), leaving a low profile, black anodized aluminum Mounting Base that has been installed on your tailgate
- Installation is easy - a typical installation takes about half an hour. Hardware kit includes all fasteners and drill bit (sized for fasteners).
